Having something knitted to show always makes me feel like someone worth being.

one hundred and seventy four

It wasn't a good day workwise. Don''t let the frantic smile fool ya... But I got my camera back, so I can show you the new paint color in our dining room (compare here). I had a friend come over and we felt close again after a little... uncomfortable-ness. That's good.

on hundred and fifty nine

At home, car, train, meeting, train, lecture, train, car, home. I feel like I'm faking the whole thing somehow.
"Hello, I'm not able to do all this! Glad you bought it, but can I quit now? Please?"

one hundred and fifty five

The strange fatigue is back. Along with the headache. It's a day of up and down.
I'm either super efficient or asleep. But we take care of each other around here.

one hundred and fifty three

At a course getting to know the history of our neighbourhood. We're by far the youngest people there, and I'm already known as "the knitter".

one hundred and forty seven

A day of reading was supposed to end in a yarn adventure... But a yarn lady called in sick and the whole thing was called off. We ended up having dinner at the in-laws. I did knit.

one hundred and forty

An odd day. Working, visiting a friend, shopping for groceries and the more work. A very secluded day in the midst of a lot going on.

one hundred and twenty eight

Odd day. I was a month early to a lecture (I'm sure the mail said 9, not 10!) and was then thrown off course all day. Ended with a restaurant dinner with friends which was nice, but I felt oddly out-of-place.

one hundred and twelve

It's finally dusk. I lectured today. I felt more comfortable telling others about what I do, than actually doing it. Weird. Felt as if I was lying about the whole thing, even though I wasn't.

ninetyeight

Lots to do and out in the world again. Feels good to get out of the house and feel useful, but I felt like an outsider in familiar settings. A very odd feeling.

I'm walking around barefoot and I was working up the courage to take detailed photos of scars and foot related oddity. She took it as an invite to cuddles.

fiftyone

A day of travelling by car. Not much to report except jet lag and a very loud air conditioner in a hotel. Many things are very American. I am not.

Our greenhouse is an unexpected little piece of heaven. I never thought I'd enjoy it so much. Today I saw how much it reminds me of me. Built out of the old inner windows of the house, it's bits and pieces from the past that come together for a new and different use. Not all is intended to withstand the deteriorating forces of the cold outdoors though, so sometimes you can see new cracks in the surface paint. But it holds together nicely all the same, and is rather cute come to think of it...

Swedish Game Fair. A hunter's dream. I'm no hunter. He is. I was wet and cold after a rain shower that soaked me. But He was happy and it was nice to see.

fourteen

At work in my office. A room with bad air but with a pretty ceiling. I love how that old circular mark gives me a halo.
